To reduce odour and maximise effectiveness, it is recommended that pads are held in place by either firm fitting underwear or specifically designed pants which hold the pad firmly in place. Absorbent bed sheets and chair covers: Reusable washable pads and disposable bed and chair protection is available, these come in a number of colours and sizes, Freedom Healthcare can also provide bespoke items at an additional cost.. Washable and disposable products are constructed so that, when used as recommended, moisture is absorbed into the material layers and drawn away from the skin to help prevent infection and irritation.
